Floyd Collins, exploring Sand Cave in Kentucky, uses the echoes of his
voice to sound of the region, and falls through a tight passageway when
his foot becomes trapped. Despite efforts by miners, the National Guard
and the Red Cross, all attempts at rescue fail and the crowd grows
outside the cave as a media circus ensues. The show takes a look at
Collins whle he evaluates his own life and mortality.

In the middle of a heat wave in 1930's Texas, when
everyone is longing for rain, or a breeze, Lizzie Curry is
on the verge of becoming a hopeless old maid. However,
when a charismatic rainmaker name Starbuck enters the
town and her family's life, Lizzie's world is turned upside
down.
The 1940's Radio Hour - Winter 2009
A play with music by Walton Jones
Full of 1940's music, dancing and old-time sound effects
this play portrays the final holday broadcast of the Mutual
Manhattan Variety Cavalcade on the New York radio
station WOV in December 1942. The show includes such
well-known songs as "Our Love is Here to Stay," "Boogie
Woogie Bugle Boy," "That Old Black Magic," "I'll Be
Seeing You" and "Jingle Bells."
